Captain announced plans have changed. They are leaving soon until mid April. Another ship broke down. They need to go take their job. Cory is devistated. He was going to fly his girlfriend there in exactly 1 month. mom knows little. I didn't know they were really back together.

I would love to plan a trip for the holidays. That might be the only time that I could get my other two sons there.

My husband & I wanted to go in the spring. But we do not know if they will be deployed or not. It is hard to make plans.

dustysmom, happy belated birthday to your sailor. I was just on facebook looking at nicks latest pictures. you are so right, they seem to be having some good times and we are the ones who have the miserable days.

Nick sent a package home yesterday, it had some really nice gifts in it that he obviously picked out special for each of us. I miss him alot and there are some days it just hits me that I want see my boy for sooooo long and my heart just aches. It doesnt seem possible that it hasn't even been a year since we started this journey (roller-coaster). hope you are all having a wonderful weekend, angela

Happy Birthday to Dusty. I saw some pics....and Cory and the crew celebrated with him!!! And what a "weird" amusement park. But looks like they had a great time. So glad a group of them have really connected like that!

Happy New Year!  Nice pic from facebook.  Dusty is far left.  Hillman is in the ballcap.  He graduated 8-5-2011 as well div 244.  Nice looking crew.  You can see racks in the right background.
