I guess the Christmas Party was quite a bash, according to the facebook pics! I found Dusty, but the pics weren't labled so I didn't know anyone else.  They really dressed up.  The girls' hair and nails were all done.  Looks like it was quite a time.  I know Dusty bought a suit special for the occasion.  Its nice to see them let loose and have some fun.  And the prizes were great.  He won an ipod docking station, worth over like $200.  Great times.

hope everyone had a safe and happy Thanksgiving.  Dustin said they had turkey for lunch.   He missed the green bean casserole from home.  Then he tried to do the black friday frenzy but it was just too crazy.

I got a skype from Sasebo last week.  I think they will be there for while.  Dustin thought March.  For me its a little comforting to know they will be land at least for the holidays and that we will be able to be in better contact.  I received a nice email and pic from the students that have sent care packages.  That was so sweet and I know the boys will really appreciate it.

Cory and I chatted via FB last night. They are in Sasebo. He called his dad via Skype too.

A few of the boys names have been given to a boyscout troupe. They were looking for sailors to adopt also.

This is so bad, but I think they are back in Sasebo. I checked his checking account and he made an ATM withdrawl and it was in Sasebo, now he better give his mom a phone call!  CorysNavyMom, thank you so much for sending his name, address and picture in to your friend. It's really touching that they are doing the project for the Sailors on the Germantown. =) Have a good Turkey Week everyone, at least it's a short one.

I got it!! I sent it on and used the same address as all the other boys. They all seem to use the same one.

I forgot my camera.  The veteran's dinner and program at my school was a huge hit.  My class did very well.  And better yet I received a call Dusty.  He sounded really chipper.  Glad to be in port I guess.  Knowing that he's doing well makes me so happy.  I got online, bought, and shipped some gifts.  All that's left on his wishlist is cookies and slimjims.  Typical 18 year old.
