FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

hi ladies, my husband on this ship and  I was wondering if the internet was down on their ship or something, because I haven't heard anything from him I wanted to make sure everything was okay.

Thanks for the info.... Please add me to the email list. Can we talk in private emails to each other if to pass info concerning all on ship. Also do we post their first name in conversations, or just my sailor? I did not get him a phone card... Guessing a prepaid AT&T phone card. Any thoughts. Emailing.... Will Che be able to get my emails.... Should I send one.... say with a big "saints win superbowl again!" and he would get it whenever he checks his email. I do know he signed up for college classes. So much I don't know...

I am a older Mom.... had him at 35!!! And he was my only one...a miracle baby! I work and have a busy life, but having kids in the mix.... you have way more to do and deal with than me! God bless you as you start your week! You will love Tennessee!

thanks for the great info!!! I made him a 2011 calendar with pics of all of his family and friends and of course all the fishing trips!!! I made my mom and me one as well!!! Best investment I've made in long time!! Stephen loves popcorn, so will get busy on my box to send......I have a great connection with a dermatogist and can send samples of hand creams, dove mini soaps, dove wash, and most any thing they have..... I will send plenty so he can share!!!

Hi y'all
My son is on his first deployment. Already sent a letter two days ago, as I heard it takes about 3 weeks to get to them. Would love to hear more about what to send, and how long it takes to get to them. I am so proud of him!
I live in Louisiana and will b active in any support I can provide to my sailor and his shipmates.
My prayers will be constant till our young men are back home!
