FIRST TIME HERE?

FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Well, I guess I fell out of the loop.  If someone could tell me Please how to get the pictures that everyone is talking about I would be extremely happy. Well I haven't heard from my son but I have recieved to FWD emails so I guess that accounts for something, tells me he is ok.. He only has time to talk to his wife..Man o man I am so jealous of her..Oh well but pictures would be great.  Thx all

good to hear from everyone... Md...can't wait to hear about your trip!
I, too am forever grateful to the sailor that has shared their phone... For me to get a brief hey... I love you message!! Still trying to get step hens blackberry unlocked so he can use it!! No luck yet. Made us a USS HALYBURTON group on my facebook page....that way we can keep all our navy talk between just us!
Going fishing today! Hope to catch a big sac a lait!!!

Hi ladies nice to hear everyone is doing good. Been crazy busy here since I started my new job. been talking to my Hubby and about to send 3 packages out. My mother and law and I stuffed 3 boxes to the brim last night. Finally sending my husband a computer so when they go into port we will actually be able to skype!!! I'm prettty excited. and thanks for the pictures and article!
