How do I sign on for the tiger cruise? Also, how do I help with Christmas stockings for USS Harry S Truman?

What I know....The captian will e mail the sailors, if there is a 50% or more yes response for the tiger cruise, they will have one. Remember it will be very close to a major holiday.......some may not want to do this. So, when the 50% or more say yes, the sailors who have family that want to go will be sent medical forms and other paper work to be filled out and sent back. If there are any medical issues the ships people will interveen and decide if that person is allowed or not.
So, hold on to your seat and wait till you hear from your sailor as to weather or not he or she has gotten the captians e mail on this topic. Hpe that answers a lot of questions.
Thank you so much!
Regardless of % of people who want one, if having one will make it so they dont pull in on time they wont do it. Just want to put that out there for people....
Sorry to be the bearer of bad new, but had an e-mail from my son, NO tiger cruise...
Sorry
Ohh no. Well, I know my sailor is very disappointed. We just have to give them a great welcome home! Any news on how to help with the homecoming?

Thank you
I sure hope so. My sailor has a 15 year old brother who is looking forward to it. It would be a great experience for a "Future Sailor".
Hello all. I am new to the N4M forum. Have a sailor on board the USS Truman. 1st deployment. I am a Army Vet so I am still learning about the Navy. Many questions. How can I help with the Christmas Stockings for the USS Truman? What is the minimum age for children on the Tiger Cruise? Also what is the latest that we should send mail to our sailors? Thanks for all your help.
Who can actually go on the tiger cruise?
Just sent by the captain today-
HST will not be doing a Tiger Cruise this deployment. I know this is a disappointment to many and I am disappointed too
as a Tiger Cruise is something that I really wanted to offer to our Sailors and Marines and their friends and families this cruise. This decision was not taken lightly and it was made after several weeks of looking at all the options and trying to find a way to make it work. But, unfortunately, our commitments to our Fleet Commanders (our mission here on deployment) does not allow us enough time to get to a Tiger Cruise embark location, pick up Tigers and still get back to Norfolk on time. I am committed to doing everything I can to get our crew home to you on time and there is simply not enough time to make all our Fleet commitments, do Tiger Cruise and still be home on time.
I just received e-mail from my son. It looks like the Tiger cruise will not happen!. What a disappointment! We wanted to go. Has anybody heard about 2010 Tiger cruise plan?
