I just saw Heather's post. I'm all in if we can find him.
I second that HOOYAH! and thanks Navymom2.
Hello again everyone!
I think I've got an idea.. But first, Bernapet was it you who came up with that logo and idea? which is fabulous btw. I know you had a button in mind, right? Would you mind if I took your logo and painted it on a t shirt with fabric paint? I have so much fabric paint and am always looking for a way to use it up. I'm sooooooo not artsy but I'll try to fashion it smaller. I'll try to make it as close to a large button as possible. I also LOOOVED that pin with the ribbon someone made too. who was that? whether it's a button or a painted tshirt I'm wearing, I would love a big navy4mom's (and wives, sisters, grandmas, aunts, whoever is here) hug! If hugging's not your thing that's perfectly fine too! a handshake will do. Oh boy, now I'm rhyming. I swear I didn't mean to. I confess, I'm super excited for next week!!! I wish I was all packed like Jacob94mom but it'll be the night before. Hey is anyone familiar with Portsmouth at all?
Too funny jbird! I'll be wearing my pin at the Meet & Greet as well.Hi Coach Shelia. We've missed your postings this deployment! See you soon NavyMoms... :)
I should have said that you know where to find me (the pin, J-bird) if you need any of the items I mentioned . I know there will be many many people but you never know.
ha ha thanks redsmom! Dorie maybe you should wear blue and yellow too. I'm giddy for next week, can you tell? And thank you too bernapet. BTW I'll wear the pin to the homecoming too and just incase there is a need, I'll have first aid supplies on hand. You never know. I'm thinking along the lines of sunburn or bug bites, water to spritz with but I'll have bandaids and such also. don't forget your binoculars!
