As of 3-28-15, HAE mailed 4 waves of pillowcases to the ship.

We mailed a total of 2,469 pillowcases.  My crew is AWESOME!

If you hear from any of sailors that they received a pc, please post it so we can enjoy the good news.

Hi all!  Just a reminder to double-check your privacy settings on social media

And be judicious about smartphone use and downloading smartphone apps - be aware of info you're giving access to!

Wave 2 is mailed.  This ship will take at least 5 waves and we could use your help!  We need donations of made pillowcases, fabric and $ for shipping.  Please contact me by a PM or thru Heads at Ease.

Thanks!  Your sailors are enjoying the pillowcases that my crew has sent so far.

Hi all!  Here's a heads-up for those who bank with Navy Federal Credit Union, posted today by Naval Operational Security (OPSEC)

Be aware of a spear phishing campaign targeting users with a Navy Federal Credit Union account. There are multiple senders and the subject line of the malicious emails vary, but appear similar to "Account Alert," "NFCU Notification," "Notification Alert," or "Account Notification." The email contains an attachment that links to a phishing page.

OPSEC Best Practices: Verify links and sources of emails.

To that history, I'd like to add that our sailors and Marines serving on USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7) uphold an extraordinary legacy, and make us all so very proud every day.  Bravo Zulu, each and every one!
