Hello Everyone!
First off I just wanted to say thank you for all being so welcoming and inviting. I just signed up on this website a few days ago and it's already been such a huge help. I also apologize ahead of time for anything I say incorrectly, I'm very new to this and I'm still trying to learn all the Navy lingo! lol
My boyfriend is currently stationed at Pearl Harbor and is on the USS Jacksonville. He and I met back in September, and right off the bat we both knew it was meant to be. I didn't have any idea that he was in the navy until our 4th date together! So when I found out that he was leaving a month after we met, I was devastated. I may be young, but when you know, you know. I haven't seen him since October 18th, and I want to go visit him this summer.
He wants me to come visit him in June or July, and I don't care when, but I need to go. The only problem is that I am an extremely broke college student. I have found several websites offering discounts to military girlfriends (easymilitarytravel.com) and I was just wondering if anyone has tried using these sites before, are they safe and legit, and if not can you please help me with some advice? I really need to see Chris, and I feel so lost without him by my side. It would mean the world to me if someone could help me out.
It's ironic because my major in school is travel and tourism, and they will teach you anything and everything except for military related trips haha.
Thank you for your help!
Felicia
