Having to tell my son to slow down, take a breath, enjoy being home; no decisions need to be made right now. Anyone else seeing that?

Just want to say a quick THANK YOU to all of you who have helped us through this deployment and made it such a great homecoming for our sailors!! It all turned out great!

Gate 5, tell them you are there for the Dunham Homecoming (10am, pier 6). You will have to have a photo ID and tell the crew member you are related to. We were told not to arrive before 8am. There will be designated parking and a big white tent facing the pier. There are a few things they have to do and the ship will have to be safely moored before anyone will be allowed on the pier.

Thanks!  This does help!  I see where people are saying to stop sending pkgs. as they may not get them until their return?  Is this correct and if so I am assuming not much longer now?  Like I said I am so new to all of this as well as my son.  He was so excited when he found out he was headed to his ship but didn't really have any information as to what to expect as this is his first time out.  He said he could probably get a phone at some point and he did contact me before he got to where he was headed. How can I get someone to find him and snap a picture or just get a Hey Ma?   He had a really rough time of it getting there and want to make sure everything is ok now. The not knowing is still very hard for me.
