Hi all, My son sent me a bunch of really great pictures today it was awesome I wish I knew some of the guys in them. He wrote me last night and really sounded good and upbeat which is always nice for a mom. I thought by now he would be down, missing the good ole USA his family and most of all his Fiancé. She is on a different ship and he said it is very hard for her to get to a computer.

I am so excited about the raffle again for the ship and can't wait to go shopping again....... Have a good weekend all!!!

Hi Ladies. My name is Katie and I am the one who is taking care of t-shirt sales for our FRG. I stumbled upon this site the other day and read through some of the comments and noticed a few of you were asking how to order shirts. You can contact me if you are still interested :)...katie_a_reeves@yahoo.com. Thank you to those who have bought shirts already. You are a huge support to our group and ship. They are going to have an awesome homecoming!! We are also selling our wonderful ship Christmas Ornaments...We have about 20 of those left. Again you can contact me to find out about ordering those. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

We were able to chat on fb Sunday, which was great! But today I missed out on the Skype because I was a substitute. I'd would rather have done without the money than without the Skype! His wife though did put a picture on fb, so that kinda helps. Just kinda.......

Just heard from my son yesterday.Only talked for a minute and the line kept breaking up. Just so good to hear his voice. You know what I mean, even if I really couldn't understand.lol I did catch he was okay and he would call again Tuesday. Nice to get those calls. Almost didn't answer cause I didn't recognize the #. Always a different one. He said it was through wi-fi. Anyways, the packages I have sent...the 1st one took about 2 weeks, the 2nd one 4 weeks...and am still waiting on the 3rd to arrive. Mailed it about a week and a half ago. Who knows?  Hopefully before Halloween! Have a nice day everyone!

I  heard from my son and he received his package yesterday!!! He was so excited. It was the first package I had sent because he has only been on the ship about six weeks. Now I am ready to send another!  He said he would try to call today, but he hasn't.  Maybe tomorrow.

Mine have also been taking about 2 weeks.  The longest was around 4 weeks during a time that no one on the ship was getting their mail.  gazebo, is this the first package you've sent?  Or have you sent others that have been received?  If this is your first you might want to double check the address you used and be sure it's accurate.

Comment by Tumbleweed on October 12, 2012 at 9:14am

No, I don' think so.  My husband has only been on the ship since August, but the two packages I sent only took 1 1/2 - 2 weeks. Oh, that is disappointing.  Any way you can track it?  Send him another, and hopefully the delayed package will catch up to him at some point and be a nice surprise. :)
