For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

offroute.mom - if no one responds to your post here try sending a message to the group (it will go to their email and maybe someone who isn't on here daily will get the email and respond).
Look in the upper right hand corner and you'll see the "Send Message to Group" link.

My daughter left yesterday on the USS KIDD. Be safe honey and have fun, but be careful!!! We (your children and I) will miss you very much!! I will take good care of them. Hurry back!! We love and miss you~
Hello fellow KIDD family memebers,
I am new to this site and husband is kinda new to this ship as of february 2012 my husband and i moved out here and it's been a blast learning about san diego. I really love the weather here, better than back home. Anyways, just tryna meet new people, possily make new friends :) hope to hear from some of you :)

Hi Martisu, so glad you heard from your son and all is well. Not sure if your son had his bday yet or if it is coming up but happy birthday to your son!! That's great that he got one of your packages. Hopefully the others will arrive soon. My son has not yet received the package I sent but I just mailed another. Hi KJ's Mom!! Thanks for the info about the packages. I agree, xmas package will need to go out early. Loved seeing the photos on facebook. Looks like they have been busy but glad they got to have a steel beach picnic! Hope all the Kidd families and sailors are doing well. My daughter's bday is tomorrow, 21! Wow, does time go by fast...hopefully for our sailors too :)
