Heard from one of the other moms that the Makin was on River City because of the death of the corpsman on Feb. 14th, that is why had not heard from him. Has since heard from him and he is hanging in there.  Will continue to pray for the sailors family.

Ruth,

Thank you so much I will let you know if he needs the hankies. Haven't heard from him in a couple of days again,,,,so don't really know what is happening.  Continue to pray for him.

They have him painting and sanding on the ship so maybe the paint fumes may be adding to the problem with constant headaches.  Just not sure but he is not any better so please keep praying for him.  If it is hot where they are he does have what I think may be seasonal allergies....so I really don't know.  I know that God is still in control.

Joan/E's Mom thank you so much.  He is becoming so discouraged.   I'm so concerned about all the meds he is being tried on to help with the constant headaches.  Just please continue to pray for him.  He really does want to be in the Navy.  Thank you for your prayers.  I know that God is in control, no matter what it looks like.

God is the 'Great Physician" he will take good care of your son. Believe it or not, thank God that the sickness is happening now that he is in Good MEDICAL HANDS. (Understand) God is strenghening his weakness. Making him his immune system stronger while he is surrounded by people that love and care for him, LOOK AT IT THAT WAY, and pray for health and his PEACE. AMEN!

(((a big hug for YOU ))) :)   I am pretty sure my son is PRAYING FOR HIM.

Thanks Ruth...I will pass your comments and your son's comments on to him about time.   I think that God just wants him to learn to trust Him.  I wish that I could protect him from all of the hardships in life but that is just not God's plan.  It is so very difficult for us to wait, but even in the scriptures it say "Wait on the Lord and be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart.  So  wait we must.

Thank you so much for your encouragement...it means a great deal to me.
