hi nancy, i and my husband plan to be there, maybe grandmother and aunts also. i hope you get to go. have a good weekend. God Bless.
'm certainly planning on being there for his return. After that many months away, I don't think you could hold me back.
Hi to all! I don't write much but enjoy reading everyone's comments. Makes me feel not so all alone in this deployment. We just heard from Jonathon and he said they saw a wild giraffe on one of the flights off of Africa. Sounded very happy with everything right now. It was great to hear from him! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Don't forget daylight savings time! Ahhh, more sunlight hours. :)
My husband and I are really hoping to be there when the ship arrives. Being a Marine family, this is all new to us. How will we know when the ship gets in? Do they give you enough notice to be able to buy a decently priced plane ticket? I sure hope so because we live in Washington state and that's a long ways to drive! Of course, not as far a Alaska though!
I plan to be there, maybe with my daughter to see my favorite sailor after his first time on a ship. Have been lucky to hear from him often, both phone calls and email. Funny...I'm guessing he's one of the few that likes his sleeping quarters, always has been one to like cozy spaces and he said it's really dark (unlike his room at home with big windows).
So excited to see his Facebook profile pic to be a candid on ship with several other sailors - looks like a scene from a movie, oh, but wait I am his mom =)

Take care moms and all other loved ones....

I am planning on being there and I will be driving up from Oklahoma. Hope to see you all there.
My husband, son, daughter, Dad, and a niece along with myself are all going out!! The days can't get here soon enough!! But I'm afraid the days with him will go by to fast! Hope to see some of you there!! :)
