My son is an ET. When you talk to your sailor, tell him to say "Hi" to ET Love.

Mariella, I've deleted your post. We are never allowed to post the dates for when Miami is out to sea. It is a violation of the OPSEC rules.

Cassandra, I forgot to ask. Is your little brother a nuke? What will he be doing on the Miami?

Cassandra, Welcome to the Miami family! He will have just missed dry dock and ORSE. Lucky Man!

I heard from Alex before they left. Hopefully I'll hear from him before we leave for San Antonio at the end of the month.

finally got a phone call from Alex. He is going to be able to spend some time with his best friend from high school. His friend is on a boomer out of Kings Bay and is on leave. I hope they have a good visit because they haven't seen each other since prototype. The timing is great because the boat will be out for a while later on.

Hey Jerri, I made a big pot of stew yesterday. The only difference is that I serve it with Italian bread. We just got the forcast for tomorrow and we are getting another 6 to 8 inches of snow. I just hope it misses CT because Alex hates shoveling off the deck of the Miami.

Jerri, I just heard that Fort Worth, Texas got 12 inches of snow. Wow, that is a lot even for us. Take care and stay warm. How do you guys deal with it there?

I finally heard from Alex. He said they got 12 inches of snow. He spent 4 hours last night shoveling it off the boat. He's had it with winter. He hated shovelling our driveway when he was a kid. I can imagine that shovelling off the deck of a submarine must be even worse.
