Mothers and others.......here is the link for a friends and family discount rate for IHG hotels.

wwwihgfriendsandfamily.com/yhhblgu

It is cheaper if you stay in Jersey but you need to make sure that you are close to the train station.

A few of us are staying at Hotel Indigo in Rahway, NJ  train station directly across the street from hotel.  $17.50 roundtrip to the city.  Friends and family rate right now is $105 per night still cheaper than the city even with the train.

Train runs from very early morning until past midnight.

This link can be used for any date any where in the USA.  Feel free to use it whenever you like and pass it on as well.

Yankee Mom: It is about 13 hours we live in Indiana , for the three of us it was to much to fly. It was going to be about 950.00, we can drive for about 300.00 round trip and that is renting a car. My one daughter want's to come so she really can't afford to much,my other daughter would love to come but she is expecting and the trip would be to much on her.

Debbie: that would be great thanks, all of you are so kind, I know my son will be with a lot of good Sailors .

I will put a friends and family discount link on here as soon as I get home. Should be able to get a room for around $115 per night with that. Train is $17.50 round trip into the city.
