Good to see some R and R pictures popping up, and everyone looking so relaxed! About time for a little shore leave, getting more excited about the upcoming homecoming!

I was able to book 2 nights at Navy Lodge, tried to keep the room until Sunday night, but wasn't able to, although he said that could change once we are there. We have been to Doc Taylor's, very busy place, but worth it, they have a 'waiting pub' next door. We took about an hour walk about after we put our names in, then may have waited 20 minutes, but it was worth it, really enjoyed it (we went for the mimosas with breakfast!) I got a call today, I could hear her, but apparently she was unable to hear me, so she ended up hanging up on me, but she sounded good and was in a laughing good mood, darn, I wish the phones were better!

The name of the place he likes to go for breakfast is Doc Taylors They serve alcohol for breakfast so it's a favorite spot for the sailors... :(

I was able to book a room at the Days in in Norfolk for the same price as the lodge.

See everyone there!!

Hmmmm interesting. Anyone have other fun ideas? I had 2 signs made.

My favorite place to go in Virginia Beach is Watermans for a Crush. I can't wait. I'm still not sure what to do about a hotel. Would be nice to stay in VB a day or two
