Well, I finally heard from my daughter and it looks like their time of coming home has changed.  Has anyone said anything about when they get to come home?

We got an e-mail from our son last Friday the 6th.  He basically said--same ol' same ol' going on there.  He's a man of few words.  Anybody hear for their sailor since then?

I haven't heard from my daughter for awhile.  Has anyone heard from anyone from the ship?

Well, here in Kentucky we are having the Oaks (horse races) today and the Kentucky Derby tomorrow.  What excitement.  Wish my daughter was here to enjoy all of the festivities.... Missing her like crazy.

I know what you mean... my oldest daugher is getting married June 10th and my Navy daughter will miss the whole wedding.  What a bummer.  But missing a birth is really hard.  Congratulations and we wish you the best with your new daughter.  Another thing my Navy daughter missed was the birth of my first grandchild with my second daughter.  She is now 6 months old and she has only seen her once.  That is the hard pard about being in the Navy - you do miss family events.
