Does anyone know who the ombudsman is for USS Paul Hamilton and how do I reach him/her?

She called me Tuesday and said they were putting her in the hospital Wed. and doing surgery Thursday.  I wish someone would call me and let me know what is going on....here it is Friday and I still have heard nothing.  Is there anyway to contact them to find out what is going on?

I still haven't heard anything back from my daughter.  I have no idea if she had the surgery or not.  Waiting is very hard....

Well, my daughter should be having her surgery tonight sometime.  I pray that everything goes well.  I hate that she will be in a foreign country without any family to be with her.  I can only hope that the Navy will take good care of her.  I believe they are good about that.  I hope to hear from her or someone soon.  Please keep her in your prayers.  Thanks.

I just pray that she is safe in that hospital where they are at because I have heard so much negative about it.  I pray she gets back on the ship soon.

My daughter called this morning and has a hernia and they are going to put her in the hospital there and do surgery in 2 days.  Then she will be on base for a couple of weeks before she is sent back to the ship for light duty.  What next!  I wonder why they didn't sent her back to her base in Hawaii too....

My daughter said she had 4 women on her unit.  2 are leaving - they have completed their stints and 1 is going back to Hawaii due to medical reasons.

She will be the only one left in her unit.  She is a gunner's mate.  MaryProudMom of a US Sailor - I wonder if your daughter was in with mine?

I sent a birthday box to my son on March 23, and he received in on April 7 or 8.  I used the address that was posted several pages earlier.  I used a large flat-rate box; they even discounted it for military.  I think it was like $12.95 instead of 14.95.

My daughter's boyfriend tried to mail her a box and the post office said they were not receiving mail at that address at this time.  He is going to try again next week.  They must be on the move...

Sounds like they are doing well.  My son called us Monday and Tuesday--really cool, since his birthday was Monday!  Guess they'll be gone now for a "long time."
