Thanks to both of you for your wonderful words.  Doug is doing well, though I don't know where he is right now.  He has been away 2 months and will not be back for 6 more.  I miss him so much but feel fortunate that we can email each other on a regular basis.  I hope all is well with all of you and you are having a blessed Memorial Day weekend.  My thanks go out to all military for their service keeping us all safe.

Hi Dawn.  Doug is adjustng well.  This is his second deployment and he says this one is much easier than the first.  Maybe simply because he has done it once.  He sends emails frequently and is doing well.  He did enjoy their time in Spain.  I hope Chris  is doing well also.  Keep in touch and I will do the same

Good morning, ladies.  It was a scary night in Tulsa but thank the Lord, no tornadoes in Tulsa.  However, Woodward, Ok (Western Oklahoma was hit pretty hard.  The storms have moved eastward and I pray for everyone who may be in the path of these destructive storms.  God Bless you all and our sailors.  My son is now on the USS Gunston Hall and will be away eight months.  One of those months is nearly gone.  I can't wait til he gets home.

I spoke to my son yesterday and he had not heard of this.  Also, my husband is in the Middle East right now and said a similar article was in the Arab News with pictures of the USS Ponce.

Tina, thanks for the comment about the Fox News article, when I clicked on the video I saw my grandson in it.  I'm also wondering if they will be kept on the Ponce?????
