If flights have already been made etc.....does that mean you know the exact day that the ship is coming home? My son flew out 3 days ago to meet the ship, but I haven't heard from him yet

Heidi, we are in Texas and my husband and son are going on the Tiger Cruise. I'm dropping them off in NC and driving to Norfolk so I'll be there when they come in. My daughter and I figure they would enjoy it more. I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that the cruise will be over night judging how long that trip has taken before.

I got to chat with my son today.  He is loving being on the ship.  I am still worried but feel better knowing he is okay and happy being there.  Thanks Pam  for the e-mail address for the FRG that helped to find out that he had gotten to the ship.  I talked to the ombudsmen on Wednesday and she found out that day that he was there.

gmaof6, the Tiger Cruise is when family members get to meet the ship in Morehead, NC and hitch a ride on the ship back to Norfolk. My husband and son are going, they are so excited about it

Theresa, I was disappointed too. They get to hide behind a right that these men and women have fought for.

Theresa, I just tried to send an email to ponceombudsman@yahoo.com.  It was returned with message "not a yahoo address"

I was reading the post about what to send, our son requested "Cup of Noodles" he said that he works crazy shifts and sometimes doesn't make it or have time for chow. So now we send him several in every box along with his favorite candy, beef jerky and peanuts. We always send a big bag of lolly-pops so he can share. Movies are a big hit. We are currently getting his Birthday box ready to send and I think he is getting several boxes this time. My favorite request was laundry detergent, Purex 3 in 1. He couldn't buy it on broad, so I sent it.

Keeping all of the sailors and marines in my prayers!!
