I too wish we could all get together over a cup of coffee and have a nice long chat! Son just called and he is headed out early tomorrow morning to go meet the ship......he's really excited and I'm having an anxiety attack! ..I have to quit reading news articles!!!!!!! .but I'm also very excited for him!  Wondering if it's possible to meet the ship when they come back? Do people do that?

If I said something I shouldn't have, I am truly sorry.  I have really enjoyed this group.  God bless you all and our sailors

In case any of you do not know yet, the USS Ponce is in that Kearsarge battle group that they are sending through the canal to Libya. There are 10 or so warships which is a lot of power.  It may be that they may be unloading Marines.  Do any of you have more information.  I got this information from my nephew who is a retired Naval Officer.  I will continue to pray for our sailors every day

I didn't know deck but I put the ENFR for the job he does on the second line of the address.  The guy at the PO used to be in the Navy and he said that would probably work.  I got it insured and checked for it to return to me if they couldn't find him.  Thanks to Pam and Theresa for all your help, this has definitely been a learning experience.

He's been looking at it as an adventure too. He's been in 4 different countries in 2 weeks and he was excited about that.  He was ready to leave and get to the ship except for the fact he had done nothing for almost 2 weeks and now he was going to have to start working. I am relieved to know that he was heading for his ship.  I agree about the gray hair, I thought he gave them to me before he joined but now I realize that was nothing compared to this anxiety and worry.  I pray continually for all the sailors safety also.
