OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We have also considered the possibility that my husband may be able to carpool over to Norfolk if anyone will be going along I-40 in Knoxville. He would help pay for gas. If you would be interested in that, message me. Thx! (P.S.- My husband is a former sailor, if that makes you feel any better.)

My husband is looking at flights to Norfolk for the tiger cruise. We know that the longer he waits to book a flight, the more expensive it will get. Do you know if there is a certain date that he should be looking at to arrive in Norfolk?

Thank you so much, Tina.   I'm glad I don't have to worry about it right now.  It won't be long now til our sailos are back.  God bless them and all of you.
