I think we're all enjoying our "non-deployed" status right now.

Good Morning Ramage Families,

I hope that everyone is doing well. I'm sorry for sending this so late, but I've been a little busy with packing and house hunting. I wanted to let everyone know what is going on with the FRG. First, I would like to thank Nicole, Karla, Christy, and Naomi for all their work, time and dedication with the FRG. They are all moving on, with the exception of Naomi, and will no longer be holding positions on the FRG Board.

Second, at the last meeting you voted in your new FRG board members. Your new Vice President is Christy Goins, Secretary is Michelle Burns, and Treasurer is Sarah Plunk. They will be holding the June FRG Meeting. They are very excited to meet you all.

Last, as for my position, the Command is in the process of interviewing and you will have a new President soon. I hope you all continue to come to the meetings and events and show your support for the Command and its families. Because of all of you this Support Group has become amazing, wonderful and one of the best FRGs in the Atlantic Fleet. I would also like to thank you all personally for letting me be your President. I had a great time and I'm truly going to miss you all. Let's make sure we keep this the best FRG and continue to support your new board members.

If any of you have any questions, please let me know. I'll see you all at the June Meeting. Thank you again. Have a great day!

Joan, I told Matt I now had a spy on his ship! he,he, he I haven't heard back from him yet. I'm on FaceBook, Twitter, MySpace and YouTube. Go check out YouTube, I posted a lot of video from homecoming. (murray1505).

Auralei: Glad you heard back from the webmaster. Yes, it's very important you give the webmaster all the information you have about yourself and your Sailor. Especially if last names are different. Send him another email with the ALL the correct information. Keep me posted.

I bet our kids know each other. Matt is a Sonar Tech. I'll ask him today when he calls.

Nice picture Joan! I was at homecoming also. I think if you go back a few pages, you'll find some of the pictures. Was this your son's 2nd deployment? It was the first for Matt. He met the ship in October in the Gulf.

Hi Joan! Welcome to the Ramage Group! How long has your Sailor been on the Ramage and what's his rate?

Here's a little help for inserting pictures/graphics in a comment box. Find the tool bar above the comment box (B I U S Link Camera Document) Clock on the Camera Icon. A new window appears with 2 options. Click on "Browse". Find the picture you want to insert on your computer. Click on "open" and then click "Add". The only window open should be this comment window and you should be a lot of "codes". Your picture will appear after you click on "Add Comment". Hope this helps.

Lisa - he has a very nice CO, we were able to meet him at the last homecoming. He really seems to know his crew :-)
