Welcome Autumn - so glad that you have joined us. Are you a pregnant Davis wife???

Okay - when our son was born at the Naval Hospital in Yokosuka, Japan. Do you know the hospital used to plan their staffing levels around the ship deployment dates?!!! They knew if the fleet was being deployed - they had to be ready to deliver ALOT of babies nine months later! I worked for the PR office on base and we worked closely with the hospital and the Admiral's office and used to get alot of fun information.

Wow - they have a Lamberts in Washington (?) We've been to one in Alabama while traveling to the coast - always fun! The food is good too.

My goodness Tammy, that is horrible. How fortunate that your son survived and this deployment is probably good for him right now to get away for that horrific night.

February is going to be a hopping month in this group! Jackie, I met the Sailor from your NAS, he was home on leave in GA and wore his uniform to vote. I was SO excited - I never get to see any sailors in this area!!!

Tammy, welcome to the group - so glad that you are joining us! I'm an honarary member too just hoping to help all the wives and moms get thru this deployment. Trav's job sounds really interesting and...intense!

Heather...are you still basking in the sunshine?!
