Well, my hubby is going down early in the morning (Sun) to pick up our son and then KC will just take the latest Amtrak train back down to the base. He had duty today and said he has the day off tomorrow. I'm glad we'll see him for a little while. I was happy to hear his voice this morning when he called.

Hi Rae Ellen,
That's great that you even make it to the gym. I should be doing something even if it's just walking but I don't. Afterall I'm not getting any younger even though I do not look my age. All i do at the most is stretching exercises. A few years back I used to get out with the neighbors and walk early in the mornings.

I know that eventually I'll hear from KC and then I will proceed to give him a hard time about not being in touch with his dear ol' mom...LOL...I promise to be nice.
He's a good son and always has a big smile for ya!

Does your husband know KC? I'm sure he does.

Have a good evening & take care.

Ahh yes, I suspect if he is emailing someone, it would be his ex-girlfriend Lesley. While at home on leave earlier this month he got together with the ex-gf on two occasions and always on the phone with her too. Now, from what I understand she hasn't completely broken it off with her current boyfriend. But for the time being both KC and Lesley need to keep their situation as a friendship.

Oh Karen, are you telling us that the young sailors in love ---- email more than the sons do?!!! What HOPE do I have as a Navy Mom?!!! LOL

Hmmmmm...perhaps we can test this theory. Diane are you hearing from Shawn or is he giving all of his time to Heather????

That is whenever he texts me on the cell.

I'm glad to hear you are all hearing from your loved ones cuz I haven't heard from mine yet. I know that my son isn't much on writing but if he would only reply to one of my emails and just say hi that would be great.
