They are so Macho but their heart's just melt if it is a little girl. We were fortunate to have one of each but the bottomline is EVERY baby is wonderful!

So glad we are making some new ones in this group!

OK...radiation-making GIRLs..what in the world are this guys up to.....I think the reason for that is....We all know most guys want BOYS first...admit it..
And we also all know that...the man supplies the sex of the child...So they all made up the excuse the "radiation" did it not me...LOL

I always hated the empty house too! With our first baby, we were living in Japan and about an hour from base. It was a fishing village and the few americans that were out there...would be deployed when my husband was. It was TOO expensive to pick up the phone and chat the night away! I used that time to write my letters and get a good night sleep for the...baby's sake!

Do you have pets? Neighbors, family near by? The gym makes great sense, keeps you busy and fit - smart girl!

Rae Ellen and Heather - I hope that you are keep a diary. Your husbands can't be there for every moment of the pg but years from now you will still be remembering these days and it would be nice to have a diary to share with them and your babies. And there is nothing more healing than writing your thoughts down.

Rae Ellen, I think your husband's shipmates are messing with him. My hubby was an FC for 10 years and our first born was a son and I never heard that about the radiation. There were lots of male babies born in our division!

I'm sure it is a great organization but no chapters here and I've got enough going on that I'm not ready to start one...this week anyways!

We are trying to get you thru your first deployment!!! We have to have some fun to do that :-D

You are not a mom yet but here is some info on the blue star moms organization...they are a national organization that has chapters in different states. We do not have one in my state right now but not sure I'm OLD enough to be a Blue Star Mom....................(jk)
