This is going to be such a fun year for all of us...thanks to our mommies to be! So we LOVE babies here, mine are too old to be babies and too young for me to be a g-ma so we are going to live thru Heather and Rae Ellen! We will need regular pictures please so we can cheer those babies on!

Heather for your cell phone to receive emails, you need a "media" package. Unfortunately depending on your provider they can charge $ 30 - 50 per month but this includes your texting, emailing, photos, etc. You may be able to receive an email without this package but if so they will gouge you on a per email rate and it won't take many emails and you can pay for that package. Just call your phone provider and see what your options are, it's a great service if you use it.

KC is a snipe...same division as Heather's hubby Shawn.

Your hubby's name isn't familiar to me. We had a chance to tour the ship and we've met some of the crew members on two occasions while they were in SD earlier.

Must go for now....hubby's coming in and duty calls! LOL :)

Have a great afternoon!

Oh, that was so sweet to hear Heather.
Do you live in WA or FL? Are you just visiting your MIL in FL?
Have a safe & good flight.

Now KC is not much of a writer but he's okay as long as he hears from me but hmm, I asked him doesn't it work both ways? I told him I would email several times a week and personally mail him a handwritten letter about every other week or so. Of course, send him special pkgs filled with goodies too.

We love Aunt Patty! What a wonderful way to start your morning. Good morning baby - feel the love!!! That is great, you may not believe it but it is SO much easier on Navy wives now than when it was my day...no emails, no phone calls - when that ship left....it left!!! It was all about regular US mail and then if we were lucky - we'd receive mail every three weeks depending on where that ship was. So I do feel your pain....or wait do I?!!! LOL

hi heather, nope didn't know that. kc was able to call last night before 10 but didn't say much other than they were still near land and actually never left the area yet. I'm sure by now they are further out.

Rae Ellen,
I'm sure you miss your hubby & I'm sure it would be too hard to say bye again!

Do you have any family or friends down this way?
It would be a long way to come, just curious.
I know it would be great to see your husband one more time before they head out again.
