Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Ask for the Military kit ~[boxes] ~or military pack~[envelopes] You receive 6 boxes Tape, packaging materials and labels You should get these in 7-10 days. They will ask if you have someone *deployed* that's it!!! And its all FREE!!!! register once and get a customer ID# for reordering...

I would LOVE To know that....We don't seem to get any pics from the ship!!! It would be nice....Alot of ships have FB pages now...and communicate with the families, post pics etc.....
HEY girls..Molly's Adopt a sailor is still in the running for the Pepsi Refresh Grant...so VOTE, PLEASE....we are at 22...and ONLY need to be 1 of the top 10 at the end of JUNE TO WIN!!!!!! so yes, this is doable...vote..please..each day...if you cannot vote....or seem to forget..I will be happy to vote for you...just give me your email addy and permission and I will be happy to....♥

Hey girls it has been awhile but looks like everyone is doing well. Heather where the heck are you? Rae glad to hear B is getting a brother. Fun to see Rebecca's and Melinda's icon pop up. How is your job going Rebecca? Melinda glad to hear life is good for you. Christina and aglatty3 it is usually pretty busy in here but the nice weather must be drawing everyone outside. Diane are you at the beach? I sent my first package already.

Rae, wish I was there to give you a hand!
I hurt my back a few weeks back..same as you...ongoing issue..ONLY this time...the pain was UNBEARABLE...I ended up at a chiroprator!!!! And my regular Doc...Reg. Doc gave me meds and the chiropractor really helped me with "small sessions"....and decompression of the muscles...it was a process...And I DO UNDERSTAND you are alone ....My pain...was OUCHY MOMMA..i was shuffling across the floor!!!...
NOW I have sworn myself to "daily" stretches to USE the back muscles etc etc...I just don't have TIME OR Patience for that type of back pain!!!!!
ICE ....lot of ICE for your back..I am sure you have all the tricks about what to do...Call one of your friends...maybe...they can come and sit with you...while you ice for a bit!!! I don't know..I feel useless...Sorry......

I ladies, just thought I'd stop in to see how active you've got this going again! Know that I am always here for your no matter what. Doesn't matter that I am no longer on the ship, you all are my friends and fellow milspouses. Hugs to all.

when you guys send care packages do you use the flat rate boxes, and they provide the customs papers too right?
