Got at call from my son yesterday!!! It was sooo good to hear his voice and know he is okay!!! But he sure sounded tired!!! It's nice to know he is getting the chance to travel all the places he has always wanted to see!!! Maybe not the way he had in mind but he still gets the life experiences!!!!

Man things have changed!!! My son that is on the same ship as your husband is my baby if that tells you anything???LOL

We are in the high desert about an hour north of Los Angeles, when are you due with the baby??? How many children do you have??? You seem to be located quite a ways from the base, how does that work for your husband??? Does he like driving so far???

My son works on the computers for weapondry, just came on the ship recently, so he is busy trying to learn everything he needs to know about his job. Like he says schooling is one thing but aboard ship it's another story...lol Are you in Washington? I am assuming since it's your husband who is on the ship??? We live in CA so visits are few and far between!!!!

Finally heard from my son, he emailed letting me know that they have been turning off the emailing ability for security reasons...so if it's been awhile since you have heard from your lived one it is probably due to the security they have to abide by...I know my son states he has been very busy couldn't even email his dad for Father's day!!!!

Hi Kris..my son in an EN...his wife is "heather" on here..I don't hear from my son either......I do know that my sons first responsiblity is to his wife and his son!...Heather tries to keep me up to date on him!....If I have a question or concern..she is always there to answer!..I do know he doesn't have much time, the couple of emails I had gotten he just says they are working really hard!....
Patience is something I guess all of us could use more of....Hurry up and wait..LOL....
I figure as long as he is emailing his wife, he is ok!!!
I am the mom!....LOL....I will always worry about him but I do not want to intrude on is life...it is his own, he knows where I am and knows if he needs something all he has to do is ask, have a great weekend! ♥
