Yea Katelyn had that same problem when she got there also, but Nick just like Katelyn will get it sorted out too.
I'm sure she was relieved to have another OS to split the work duty with lol

Hi Leese....Jacob is fine. I know who you are referring too as he uses last names also. I  do not know if he got his Rocker sewn on or not.  He was having a difficult time trying to get a room to store his stuff but he did at the last minute. Happy that he knew Katelen.

Janine, sorry he is an OS.  He just graduated from C school so just joined the Roosevelt.  We are still in the process of adjusting to military life as this is all new to us. My son is not shy so I am sure he will know everyone soon.  Nice to meet you.  My name is Ellen.

Ellen,
I spoke to Katelen the day Jacob got there, She called me to tell me he made it there lol
She also said he may not be able to leave the ship when they port,
Unless he was able to get his Rocker sewn on his uniforms before they left Mayport.
So I hope he was able to get that done before they left.
If I hear any more I will let you know!
Take care Leese

Hi everyone, does anyone have a family member on board?  Would love to keep in touch as my son is on his first venture.

Leese...it was a fun trip.  We went to Vegas for the first time.  Loved it!  Now that I am back home, I am missing my son.  :)  Hoping he can come home soon but not sure yet.  I have a daughter at home so that helps.  She is older then Nick and in her third year of college.  She has her own life so we are basically empty nesters.  Trying to get used to this.  I am very excited for Nick and the path he is on.  He is loving the navigation and plotting classes.  Hope your daughter is enjoying it also.  :)

Hi Leese...Sorry we were out of town for a week and just got back.  His date was 2/3 and he is an Operations Specialist.  I believe he graduates A school on April 9 but I don't know for sure.  Then he is on to Virginia for C school.  What is your daughter's name?
