Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

does anyone know if there's an ACTUAL doctor on board?  Or are they the equivalent of a medic or doctor's assistant?  My daughter is having serious medical issues.

Odd if it's gone. Hopefully we get more current news soon!

The Washington Times link I shared yesterday is no longer connecting to the story. It was just a story dated 9/12 saying the group was still (not sure what I can say) where we last heard they were.

Hello Shoup Families,

For those who are not in the Everett, WA area, there is a potluck next Tuesday for Shoup families to give them as much news as possible on the current state of affairs. I will be attending this meeting / dinner and I will make sure to give you all an update on what is discussed. I hope this helps.

Momofsailorem and kristy, my son is also a CS. He was in boot camp July 2011. He's currently on the night shift.

no "official" news MAMASAN...just my hunch, but I think JOIRENEE is probably the more realistic option... ='(
