Do you all think it would still be ok to try to send a care package to my sailor? I mean with the all of the stuff that is going on, I am not sure if they would be able to get mail too often.

Good Evening
There has been many questions regarding the meeting that is scheduled for Thursday and Friday this week.  Si I am going to try and answer them for everyone
1.  Kids are welcome
2.  There will not be Skype capability  -We are not planning to Skype the meeting.  We have two meetings dates/times in order to accommodate as many people as possible.  Since this is a motivational/support type meeting rather than an informational meeting, I don't think it will translate well through Skype.  We also normally do this for our FRG meetings, but we have always had a problem with keeping the connection and we feel that it would distract from the immediacy and intimacy of the meeting.
3.  Someone will be taking notes and the information that is put out will be sent to our families
Please remember that this meeting is a motivational/support type meeting rather then a informational meeting.

Please contact us with any questions.

Have a good night

In reading the latest from the ombudsman...this is only a support meeting, not necessarily in informative meeting.  I'm from OHIO , I'd like in on it no matter WHAT kind of meeting it is tho.

My daughter is an OS...sorry MomofsailorEm

many of us who aren't from Everett that is-gees!

I can't go to the meetings but I do pray everyday for the USS Shoup, the crew, (my boy) and the captain.

I have a suggestion for the group in Everett. Can someone be chosen to write down the important items of this meeting (and the other meetings that happen there) and post them here? Many of us who are from Everett would love to know the News worthy items on the USS Shoup. Thanks!

Pretty cool they are able to check in...at least we know they are safe! It's fantastic that the CO keeps us as informed as she does...helps allay some fears momentarily.
