Hi Amy!

My son was in boot camp 9 months ago. He went to A school for 6 months and was home on leave for 2 weeks until July 4 and flew to Washington. 4 days later they flew him to the Shoup.

Don't know if phone is working now Amy...hope so. Anyhow Google tiger cruise and you will see what I'm talking about. Its an opportunity for us to travel with the kids and experience the life they are living. The Stennis did one from HI to san diego. ...wouldn't that be a kick? I am so hoping.;)

Hi Amy, welcome! I'm not on here a lot. I too had forgotten about this site but when my daughter got hurt & I needed support everyone on here was fantastic support! Even though my daughter is at base, I'm curious about the tiger cruise too....

Hi everyone,

Forgot about this site. Haven't been on since my son was in boot camp two years ago! Thought I'd find a group of mom's that were part of the Shoup. So glad you are all here! This is my son's first deployment and it has been SO hard! Love the bracelets. Are those still available? Also, what is a tiger cruise?

Hope everyone is doing well. My daughter is so excited, for she gets to come home in October.

Tmon- it was my daughter's birthday when we went up so he had dinner with us @ Olive Garden. I was happy she had a friend to celebrate with us seeing as she couldn't celebrate with all her ship. She is still out on medical. Glad you got to visit with him.

Did you contact the airlines about his bags? Maybe the ombudsman can assist?
