Mail is so slow. I sent a package to my sailor about 11 weeks ago. She still has not received it. I also sent 3 more boxes about 6 weeks ago. I sure hope she receives something this weekend, for it is her 21st birthday.

LOL.. noticed it didn't say it was for USS SHOUP. Had to fix that one.

The USS SHOUP Family Readiness Group is selling bracelets to benefit our ship's homecoming party!

They are "Forever Anchored in Love" bracelets made from blousing straps(uniform item) and they are adorable!

If anyone wants/needs one let me know!

They are $7 each or $7.50 shipped.

Please inbox me if interested. We will use my inbox temporarily until we get our email set up for these orders.

Thanks - Mary

Welcome to the Shoup moms! Wonder if you could post a Happy Birthday on their website. Mail has been slow for past few weeks...I sent 5 packages and daughter hasn't gotten them. Previously seemed like she got mail every couple of weeks. Guess it depends on their location. Anyhow. ..they all love care packages and seem to enjoy sharing with others. Guess it makes them feel a lil closer to home. Happy Birthday to your son...I'm sure they will acknowledge his special day!

Hi Moms,

My son is new to the USS Shoup. He flew out to join the ship a couple of weeks ago. I have not heard from him since he left the country and tomorrow is his birthday. I've seen some other birthday related posts. So, any advice is appreciated - about birthdays, care packages, contact in general, etc. etc. Fill me in. Thanks!

How is everyone doing out here?  I need some ideas. My daughter is turning 21 in June, and I want to send her something special in her care package for her 21st while she is deployed. Do you all have any good ideas? Thanks
