I have gone to Dollar General and picked up silly toys, like bubbles, balls, and silly putty. Anything that seems silly. Remember, they have crazy hat day on the ship on Thursdays. If you find any silly or crazy hats, send them to your sailor.

@NyteShayde

I feel your pain. My daughter will be turning 21 in June and this will be her 2nd birthday away from us.  I hope to put together a fun filled care package for her when the time arrives.

It's my Rachel's 20th birthday today (4/17). The first without her home, you know this is a tough one. :'(

My husband and I were just able to Skype with Sarah. That was way over the top awesome!  She did say that the ship is broke down so they may be there for a little while longer. She has to take a bus from the ship to the base, where they go to the liberty center to use the computers.  Hope everyone is doing well!

@Nyteshade-well we have to do what we have to do to get our kids to communitcate with us! Glad you heard from her.
