I did get some emails from my daughter yesterday. Perhaps some of the sailors are busier than others.
Mamasan,
I haven't heard from my daughter since Sunday night, I was going to mention it to her when I email/talk to her again, but you have my word that I will NOT. I'm actually kinda concerned that she hasn't emailed or called. When I talked to her Sunday she was desperately trying to hunt someone down to go with her. It's unusual that this many days have passed without an email.
Oh crap. I will let Sarah know not to say anything. Shoot. We, as moms always try to do what's best, and then other times, it smacks us right in the face. I have done the same thing in the past too, so dont feel all that bad
Hi,
So, as I had anticipated...he got wind of my meddling and is pretty upset with me. Can I request a cease and desist? He's just going to have to figure it out himself...please let all of your sailors know that we should just let it be... :(
I dont understand the class thing either. I sure hope we can find someone to help these kids out. They deserve so much more than being stuck on the ship.
Thanks so much to all of you...you really helped me to weather this day. Hard being so far away. To Chel;s mom and Sarah's mom...I don't really understand the thing about different classes not being able to venture out with other classes. I'm sure there's a good reason...but from here its just confusing. It sounds as if they're going to there awhile, so hopefully it will work itself out. L
To MAMASAN, My daughter is dealing with the exact, same situation as your son. Everyone in her division ends up at the bars and she has no interest in drinking and she's been an outcast for some time and predicted that she'd miss out on most of the ports during this deployment. She doesn't know anyone else on the ship besides her division. She is a 3rd class, I know that for sure. If you'd like last name or any other info. please private message me so we can get these kids off the ship for a bit. thoughts and prayers are with you, I share you anguish.
I am totally addicted to the new show Nashville
