Delta...for the first change we had to make, they wanted to charge us $499.00 to change the date on 1 ticket with us flying out of Atlanta, BUT if we wanted to go to Nashville and make a stop in Atlanta, they could do it for $142.00. The stupid thing about this is if we go to Nashville first and get on the plane in Atlanta it's the exact flight they wanted to charge $499.00 for, why not let us go to Atlanta and charge $142.00....we were on the phone with them for hour and half.
We are coming from Georgia and it's amazing the airlines are being so difficult. We even purchased the insurance just in case; now to find out just because the ship has changed routes is NOT a covered reason on the insurance...UGG!!! We did however find out late last night they HAVE made it to port. The Tiger cruse to our understanding is still up in the air and they are not sure how long they are going to be at this port....
We are already here. Since we are full time travelers (You could say we have traveled all over the US just to get here-lol) we don't have to worry about jobs or anything to get back to but we also do not want to get stuck here by a winter storm.
I have a thought. I know we can't share where they are at any time but we all know where they are going back to, what their next port after that is and then the final port, yes? So as you know anything could we let everyone know without using the names of the ports? Like I know that yesterday they had not reached their prior port yet. Would this work?
We are staying in the Good Sam RV park in Everett.
