Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

aatlmom, if your son's on the Stockddale he's working on his ESWS (enlisted surface warfare specialist) pin. Dolphins are for submariners. They work on the division assignments AND the added stress of ESWS to keep their rate. Keep up the encouragement!

My son said he put his name down for one if us to do the tiger cruise, I'm not sure if it will be my husband or me that goes. At this point we are gonna fight over it hahahaha! Are any other moms going who have sons on the ship? I am just wondering if it is better for dad to go just because they're the same gender.

Hi Annie, not planning on the Tiger Cruise.  Would love to but I also have to save some vacation days to go to FL to help my Mom in Aug.  But I'll be there in SD!

Hope y'all had a wonderful 4th of July!! Counting down the days! Can't wait! Anybody interested in doing the tiger cruise? I sure do! Hope everyone is hearing from their sailors and I am praying each day for them, and hope they are keeping their spirits up!
