When is the deployment scheduled for if it hasn't been changed to January?
Comment by Colleen on March 28, 2012 at 7:51pm

Welcome ChipsAhoy!  I haven't heard of the deployment being changed.

I am still kind of in shock we made it through boot camp alive... can you ladies tell me when the deployment is supposed to happen?.... although "supposed to' in the military is lovingly a joke... ;)

My son was just home last week.  He did not say anything about deployment being moved, but did say that they were told the ship wasn't ready and that they may not get their deployment leave home that they get before going out.  Has anyone heard anything else?  Also, thanks for prayers for our other son with the spinal cord injury.  He will have another MRI in May to see if neck fusion surgery is needed.  We are praying for a complete healing and a full recovery!

I would like to introduce myself to you ladies. My husband will be joining the ship in a few weeks. Super excited to hear about possible deployment in January ... :) oh military life is going to be great. I can tell already.
