Going to Air and Water show today! Us Navy Moms should have a pin or something so we could recognize each other.

I made it to Dewert today. It was awesome and I was able to have some really nice conversations with them. Just absolutely loved meeting them and being on the ship. What an honor :)

I didn't have my id with me today, but they said I was fine (my husband had is ID).  We toured the USS Hurricane today and will tour the USS Dewert tomorrow.  LT Tom, I am glad that the sailors have been enjoying Milwaukee.  I was thrilled to see the sailors.  It does a mom's heart good to see wonderful shipmates.  I was also very happy when an officer came to check on one of the sailors and made sure he had been taking in enough fluids.  I am looking forward to tomorrow.

Check out what has been happening all week on our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/navyweeks  Your American Sailors have been all over Milwaukee, volunteering their time and enjoying the local businesses.

I hope that you all have a chance to get down to see the ships in Milwaukee for a tour today  from 12-7.  We have the USS Hurirnace and the USS Dewert visiting the city as part of the Navy Week and War of 1812 Commemoration.

Make sure everyone has their ID that wants the tour.

Sharbear, I am going tomorrow and spending the whole day at the lakefront.  I have a few things to do today, but if time allows, I would like to tour one of the ships today.  I love the air and water show.  I used to go with my sailor.  This year will be extra special with all the Navy.
