Thanks for the welcome, mom2nw.

My son is currently DEP.  He leaves for bc in Jan.  Afterwards, he will be going to Nuke school in SC.  I am excited about the whole process.  Currently, I am planning a trip to visit him once he is in SC.  Trying to decide exactly when I want to take the trip.  My husband, mother, daughter, son in law, and grandson will be also be going along.

How long has your son been serving?

Welcome GodBlessAmerica.  I'm just north of Milw.  My son is stationed in MS right now, he's a Seabee.

Any idea when the next WI Moms M&G/picnic/potluck would be?  I surely would have liked to go to the one in Racine, but had other previous plans.  Possibility of something before the snow flies?

Hi Kris, Stevens mom,

Our meet and greet picnic was nice....small but nice. I think the Packers and the Brewers had this one. We hope to do something again in the near future. But thank you for asking.

PIR is amazing, ladies! Very exciting! Very emotional! It's all so worth the anguish you are feeling right now. I posted a few videos of my son's PIR on my page, they are just little snippets but you are welcome to watch!
