Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

A little about me:
Well, I'm a mom of 6 and two step kids. My oldest has been talking about joining for quite some time, high school, but I think may have been a bit scared to. Now that his life has not cooperated I think he took this as a sign to follow through. I am so proud and excited for him that he will get a great education and see the world. This is an opportunity I wish all my kids would take!

9/9 PIR FANTASTIC experience!!!
I am here to support my
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
So far, my experience has been positive. A new relationship has formed for my son and myself. One that I will cherish always. I've learned how strong my son really is. And through his strength I am finding my own.

Deployment was the biggest test. Letting your oldest go to grow up and be a man in this way is a tough road. I only want the best for him and I hope that he takes what he can from the positive and the negative.
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Because we are INCREDIBLE!!! Great poem called Invisible Moms
