Hi there, to all WI Navy mamas....

Just wanted to say thank you for stopping by to say Hello to my son this week...

He is home on leave and I put a "Welcome Home" banner and some Navy and US flags on my lawn.  Another Navy mom stopped by to say HI and good job to my son. He said  "who would do that?"  I said "I would!"  LOL  It's a small world and we all gotta stick together!   Thanks again!  Enjoying my time with him until Sunday!   Looking forward to our Meet and Greet...(If we're pulling picnic tables together, I could bring my canopy (10x10').

MEET & GREET attenders - there are a few pavillion options still open but there is a cost or we have it at Carson Park & pull picnic tables together but nothing overhead.  I'm guessing 12-4? for the meet & greet? Let me know what your choice is ASAP so I can reserve a pavillion if its what we want as they are booking fast.  I have added some websites to check happenings/stuff in the area that weekend.  If you are staying the night there are several hotel choices.

Even though I can't be there  :-(  I would think Kris, that yeah - just put it out there and maybe start a discussion above where everyone can add to the head count...  probably easiest for organizational purposes...  JMO

Will miss everyone!!!

Any thoughts about a WI N4M New Year's bash (over-nighter if need-be) or maybe even an Autumn event?  I'd be willing to put a later one together if there are takers...

Eau Claire is fine for me.  There are nice parks in Wausau also, which is probably 1/2 hr north of Point.  There is Fern Island which is really pretty, Marathon Park...just throwing those out there too.  Marshfield has a really nice big park with lots of shelters and picnic tables, also a small free zoo right there.    Thanks! Laura
