OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hello, just joining although I've been a Navy mom for over a year. We live in Elk Mound - between Eau Claire & Menomonie. Son is a Nuke, graduating Power School 09/03 (we are flying out & very excited to see him) and then he'll go to NY for his final training.

met 2 wisconsin moms while waiting for the ship today. Glad you all made it. It was hot and they were delayed getting off the ship but they are home safe and sound with their families. Tired and in bed. God Bless you all.
