My bf us very excited to go to Aschool especially since he is going with a friend from bootcamp so they both won't feel so alone there :)!

candy:  Just pray that he is not in "hold" for a while after he finishes.  There was a backup on orders when my son was there...he was held almost a month after finishing...as were many of his buddies.  They get very antsy during that time!  He said they were told that the person who handled the orders took vacation during that time and it slowed down the orders coming down.  I don't know...he was just glad to get out and we were glad to get him home on leave!  By the way, he LOVED A School environment...with his buddies etc.  So different from bc!

well, I guess it doesn't really matter how long Yeoman school is...I know he won't get leave until the finishes there and then goes to Groton and finishes there. I need to figure out a way to just carry on instead of counting the days until he might come home!!  I need a hobby :)

debotur:  When my son went there, he told me that school was 37 days, but that some finish earlier than that, some maybe later, since it is self-paced.

Kim, will do.  BHappy is a friend of mine so keeping her son and yours in prayer, as well as all others involved in this relief program.

Hey, debotur! My son will be down there in Meridian soon; he graduates 4/15. How long is the school down there? And do they get leave between boot camp and A school or between A school and their 1st assignment?
