Well, my son just call.  He landed sooner than we thought but now he has a three hour bus ride to Yokosuka. He said everything is going fine.  Can't wait for him to get to base so we can talk on Skype and he can tell us all about it.

Thanks.  He is on the plane now and should be landing by 0400 CDT.  He is assigned to a ship---the USS Shiloh.   He is a Personnel Specialist.  Glad to hear that everyone is friendly there.  Blondie, I don't think Navy Strong is in our dictionary but I think it is some that happens to us Moms when you survive Boot Camp, A School and now an overseas deployment.  This Navy life that our sons and daughters have chosen "ain't for sissies"!

Good evening ladies.  My son is leaving on Monday to go to Yokosuka.  Can't believe his leave is almost over.  He will be aboard the USS Shiloh.  Any Shiloh Moms out there?
