nothing yet. We got home about an hour ago. When they headed down the ramp. I took a couple of pictures, then thought I wouldn't see him anymore. We stayed for a little more of the game, then decided to leave. When I got near the bottom, I could see him again, and started walking much faster. He was headed for the bus before I could get there, and already on the bus before I could say bye AGAIN. (Why do I torture myself?) Knowing where he was in line, I kept waiting to be sure I was staring in the right dark window. We were finally assured that it was him. I really wanted to take just a couple seconds to step onto the bus to be sure. Have you heard anything? Google showed 5 1/2 hours. They've been there an hour and haven't called? lol. (They're probably still on the bus.)
I'd like to distinguish our group better at PIR....not sure how but really wish I could have meet everyone...even if it was just a hug and talk to you soon.
Our last "see ya soon" was a doozie and my daughter and I couldn't take anymore....so we didn't stay for the bus. Have you gotten a call/text KWL?
Yes, it was awesome. So proud to be part of this group. I didn't meet anyone either. I realized that we had no way to know the other N4Ms, so I wrote, "N4M" on the back of a notebook I was carrying around. My son was in the very back of the first bus. Chas'Mom, I looked for you running along behind. lol
I did not get to talk to anyone...I assume everyone was wrapped up with their child as much as I was.
Was that not an awesome way to enter BC? I'm just so proud.
Anyone talk to their SR tonight? Mine sounded exhausted....was hoping the same for the others.
Pam B...I know you sent a message but not sure I can reply to it. So I'm just going to post here.
I have heard many will be there tomorrow for the BBQ and game. I did opt to buy the cheap seats so hopefully we will all be together.
(((HUGS))) to you....we're all a mess in some sort of a way. No one likes change and this is a big one...for us and the boys/girls.
I heard from Danny tonight and he sounded tired. Lots of paperwork today. Looking forward to seeing my son tomorrow and meeting the moms of Cardinal Company.
I hope all is doing well....I dropped by the hotel tonight after my son called and said I could...he was in great spirits. They were outside on the patio, shaving heads....he was so happy....I actually left feeling so much better....of course coming home to an empty house changed that feeling a little.
Thank you so much!
