Thanks for the info Ginnysue! He always got high mark in JROTC for uniform wear so I'm guessing that's it!

I am so excited, two weeks from today we get to see our SR's! I hope to meet some of you while I'm there. Arriving very late Thursday night so will miss the meet & greet at the Ramada.

NavyMom, the DMI is the inspection of there rack and personal area, PI is the inspection of their person, like how they are wearing their uniform. 5.0 is perfect so he is doing great! Amazing that RTC is able to get them to do things in 8 weeks that we couldn't get them to do in 18+ years! And perfectly! I think WPI is weapons.

Bubba8113, they could be awarded medals and/or ribbons for their uniforms depending on how well they did at the weapons training. Good for him!

I too got a letter yesterday! He also said Hell Week wasn't too bad, but told his gf last week it sucked, lol. He said he has learned alot but having fun while doing so. Said they passed their drill and are able to sing while marching and he enjoys that. He won a medal for something, didn't say what. But of course no phone calls till week 7. Two weeks to go ladies, I know you are as excited as I am to see my SR!

Got my letters today from my son. He said Hell Week wasn't that bad. He too doesn't elborate in writing about most of the divisions achievements so thank you for sharing!  He did mention the a DMI insection, PI and a WTI. How do we find out the scoring on these??? He said he did good with a 5.0 and a 4.75 but that means nothing to me LOL He gave us plans for Graduation weekend after the ceremony he said he wants to go to the Nex store cause they have a Taco Bell. LOL His favorite food!!! I miss him soooo much I can't wait until PIR! He said he got Pink Eye during the Live Fire and got sent to Med. But said he gets to make it up Tuesday which I am calculating would have been yesterday from the dates of his letters. I

Too bAd those 7 flags didn't earn them a phone call! He said to expect one after battle stations which we already knew.

I just had to LOL at that story Ginnysue, so glad he didn't get caught and I bet his heart was really pounding when he saw that chief and petty officer. :) My son hasn't told me anything about how many flags their division has got so Thank You for sharing. :)

GinnySue, thank you so much for the update...Bren never really shares any info about the division (or person) status, so I'm always left guessing if they are gonna stink it up...so glad to hear they have 7 flags...that does a momma's heart REAL good...lol

HI everyone the big day is getting closer.  Are any of you guys going to the meet and greet.  I went when my older son was there and it was really neat and they have you sit with your son's division.  I hope to see everyone there.
