Welcome, I would hold off on making flight plans right now. At this early stage anything can still happen and possibly set him back. Graduation is great what kind of info are you looking for?
Write lots of letters it keeps up their spirits. The divisions earn phone call time so it takes a few weeks.

Proud -- I think that is true -- once they have gone through so much and survived, you do just sort of think that they will live forever. I mean, you don't really think so, intellectually, but somewhere deep inside there is that unspoken expectation and then it is a SHOCK when they go. I must say, I absolutely do not like it.

Thank you for the inclusion, Donna.  Just give me name and addy plus zip code and I'll plug it in to my Gamin and be on my way!!

We are headed to NY for Thanksgiving with our DIL and G'daughter, Samantha.  Then my husband and son will help her by finishing putting things in the yard away that Matthew didn't get to and readying their house for winter.  She is going to VA for Christmas and New Year's with her family.  I'm hoping for some time with her here once she gets back.  Here's one of the pics they took pre-deployment for Samantha's memory book.
