Ok, I will drive around that area tomorrow and will post where might be a good place to meet for lunch.
lunch would be cool. Then I could do the morning shift and duck out early to meet you for lunch before your afternoon shift....
http://www.operationgratitude.com, go to volunteer's and the dates are listed. Sign up for any dates that you are available. Several of us have signed up for Nov. 25, 26th PM, Dec. 4th & 7th AM. I hope this help.
Bandito's Mom, I was thinking about seeing if any body that is volunteering on the 26th wanted to meet for lunch before the afternoon session. Is anybody up to that? I will find a place close by the Army Nat. Guard Aux. to meet, around 11:30.
Welcome Grace. So glad you joined our group. I am so sorry to hear about your sons accident, I hope he is doing much better. At least he is close to home. My son is a new Hospital Corpsman stationed at the San Diego Naval Hospital, he is just checking in today, he called a few minutes ago to let me know he was there.
I think I can safely say we are all proud of are Sailors and our proud to be a part of the Navy Family.
I know that lots and lots of you have stepped up and made bags for the Holiday Project. For anyone who hasn't made Goodie Bags and still wants to contribute in some way..... My sis is matching donations of Jerky. If you donate 1/4lb to the project, she will match 1/4lb and send it to the Stennis... so for $10.50 1/2lb will be sent.
